HRCC is a local government organisation that functions as a local weed control authority. The majority of our work is conducted in open space environments such as parks and roadsides.
As a result of Covid-19 we have however made a number of changes to our operations in the interests of protecting the community and our staff.
- Our public access point at 6 Walker St, South Windsor, will be closed to the public during normal business hours (deliveries excepted). Contact can be made with the main office by email@example.com or calling 4574 9600.
- Any face to face weeds inspections, extension activities will adhere to the social distancing rules (1.5m) or they will not take place.
- Any gatherings will be cancelled in line with the Public Health (COVID-19 Places of Social Gathering) Order 2020.
- HRCC is also doing what it can internally to reduce the spread of the virus. Initiatives include eligible staff are working from home, increased workplace hygiene, no indoor meetings and other protocols as advised by the Commonwealth Health Department.
